I’ve always been someone who forged their own path. Through the years, I’ve found that perseverance, faith, courage, confidence, compassion, vision, and above all else, a sense of humour has been relevant to my success in any endeavour. I love creating and always following my heart.

I was born and raised in Mexico and moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue my career as a hair artist. I won many awards within the industry and travelled, trained and worked for well-recognized, international and local icons in hair and fashion. I became a North American educator for the Davines North American Cutting Team and was Creative Director for Her Blow Dry Bar in Mexico City. My vision for Flowstate Hair Design was inspired by the culture, artistry, and ritual of my home country and my travels abroad.

I love creating precision cuts as well as long and short, sensual and flowing cuts and styles. I am especially passionate about creative colours, free-handed style highlights and personalized hair extensions, which are also my areas of expertise. I love immersing in my craft and flowing and creating together with my clients, as well as performing hair rituals, sound bowls, and pandora starlight healing sessions.

SAMANTHA FOX

In my 15-year journey within the hair industry, I have honed the art of embracing the magic of self-transformation and self-love through hair. My dedication to building strong relationships and maintaining integrity with my clients has been the cornerstone of my experience.

My expertise lies in colour treatments, including balyage, bleach outs, highlights, and vivids, as well as textured/curly hair and personalized haircuts. In addition, I am delighted to offer the unique combination of reiki (energy healing) integrated into hair services or as a standalone offering.

The joy I find in witnessing my clients feel confident and aligned with their hair is unparalleled. Providing a personalized experience in the warm and inviting atmosphere of Flowstate brings me immense fulfillment.

STEPHANIE ROSE
Hair, Womb & Rose Priestess

I am a gifted and empathetic hair stylist who brings healing modalities and hair craft together. I started working in the hair industry in 2004 and specialize in all-gender haircuts, vivid hair colours, colour blocking, foils, and smoothing treatments. I also offer a unique service and craft of weaving hair wraps infused with intention and beauty into hair, available both as clip-ins or permanently dreaded directly into the hair.

In 2016, I started merging various healing modalities into my craft, including sound healing, reiki, shamanic journeying and oracle card pulls. I also do many womb holders and birthers of life. In 2020, I birthed the creation of my own modality, using Rose medicine and sound for my signature offering, “The Ritual” and “Journey with the Rose”. These offerings connect women back to their wombs, hearts, and expression. You can book in to see me for hair services or energy work and sound healings at Flowstate.

TRACEY NAUGHTON
Hair Stylist

I have been working in the hair industry since 2003, when I completed my training in Ireland. I moved to Vancouver in 2007 and have continuously updated my cutting and colour techniques since. I specialize in blondes, balayage, vivid colours, pastel colours, and The Cezanne Smoothing treatment. If you have frizzy hair, this will literally change your life!

I am known for various hairstyles and cuts, especially natural, sun-kissed, live-in blondes and seamless grow-outs. I love creating flawless looks that accentuate clients’ individuality and lifestyle, leading to stunning results every time.

MARION CASTANG
Hair Artist

My career in hair began over 15 years ago, when I lived and worked in France. In 2017, I moved to Vancouver and have had the creative pleasure of working behind the chair, on set, and for styling for various events including Vancouver Fashion Week and Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week.

My art and approach is elevated. I specialize in colour (balayage, highlights, fashion colour applications) as well as stylish and precision haircuts. When you sit with me, you’re free to ask or tell me anything because my commitment to you is great hair and no judgement.
